Corey Taylor Unveils New Mask As SLIPKNOT Plays First Show In Over a Year

Slipknot is back on the road, and to celebrate Corey Taylor has unveiled a new mask. The Iowa metal masters performed at Rocklahoma festival in Pryor, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 4th and Taylor had a special treat for the maggots.

Taylor’s new mask looks like a new variation of his old masks that take inspiration from Dr. Decker from the 1990 movie Nightbreed.

Taylor previously teased the masked when speaking on Steve-O’s podcast, saying “It’s so gnarly, dude. It’s really uncomfortable, it freaked my wife out. She won’t look at it, and she loves crazy shit like that. She’s just like, ’That’s really bothering me, you need to put that picture away!’ It’s so gnarly, dude.
